RCB Post Massive 240/4
RCB, batting first after losing the toss, scored 240/4 in 20 overs at a run rate of 12.00. Philip Salt gave the innings a brisk start smashing 78 from only 36 balls with the help of 6 fours and an equal number of sixes at a strike rate of 216.67.
Former captain Virat Kohli with a well-paced 50 off 38 balls and captain Rajat Patidar, who hit 53 from only 20 balls with a strike rate of 265.00 was the main success behind runs on board.

Mumbai Indians Fight Back but Fall Short
Set a mammoth target of 241, the Mumbai Indians started chaotically, ending up on 222/5 in their allotted 20 overs, losing the match by eight runs. MI showed batting depth despite the loss.
Ryan Rickelton, the wicketkeeper-batter, hit 37 in 22 balls and Suryakumar Yadav contributed an effervescent 33 in the same number of balls. Hardik Pandya then had an important innings with 40 runs off just 22 balls which kept the chase on.
MI’s top batter in the innings was Sherfane Rutherford, who smashed 71 off just 31 balls with nine sixes at a strike rate of 229.03. His late surge made MI competitive, but it fell short of the target.
