The Dubai International Stadium, previously known as the Dubai Sports City Cricket Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Dubai, UAE. It is mostly used for cricket and is one of the country’s three major cricket venues, alongside Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah and Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. It has a seating capacity of 25,000, which is planned to be expanded to 30,000. It is part of Dubai’s Sports City. The Dubai Stadium has a sophisticated illumination system known as the “Ring of Fire.” This floodlighting system is specifically designed to illuminate the Dubai International Stadium. Its spherical dome minimizes shadows cast by things below, and its 350 floodlights are positioned around its circle, eliminating the need for floodlight towers. The first international match at this venue was played between Australia and Pakistan on April 22, 2009.

Dubai International Cricket Stadium Pitch Report
Dubai International Stadium assists both batters and bowlers. In the first few overs, bowlers, particularly speedsters, frequently benefit from the surface. The pitch provides swing and bounce with the new ball. However, the batsmen usually take control of the contest after the first few overs. Scoring runs becomes simpler throughout the middle overs.
