Mumbai vs Odisha

Shreyas Iyer‘s blistering double century guided Mumbai to a commanding 602/4 declared against Odisha on the second day of their Ranji Trophy clash. Resuming at 365/3, Iyer continued his onslaught, finishing with 233 off 228 balls, including nine sixes. Siddhesh Lad, who started the day on 169, fell short of a double century but contributed valuable runs. Suryansh Shedge added further misery for Odisha with an unbeaten 79 off just 36 balls. In response, Odisha struggled against Mumbai’s bowlers, reaching 123/4 by stumps with Sandeep Pattnaik’s fighting half-century the lone highlight.

Karnataka vs Bengal

Bengal’s bowlers turned the tide after setting Karnataka a challenging target. After dismissing Karnataka for 301, Bengal’s bowlers made early inroads, reducing the home side to 63/4 by stumps. Manish Pandey’s duck left Karnataka reeling. Abhinav Manohar’s fifty and Shreyas Gopal’s resistance provided some stability, but Karnataka still trail by 146 runs, with plenty of work left to do.

Assam vs Tamil Nadu

Assam ended the day on 49/1 in response to Tamil Nadu’s 338. Despite an early breakthrough from Sonu Yadav, Assam’s openers gave them a solid start. With captain Denish Das unbeaten on 51, Assam will look to reduce the deficit on the third day.

Jharkhand vs Saurashtra

Saurashtra found themselves in trouble at 115/4 after a mini collapse, following a strong start from Jharkhand, who had posted 300. Harvik Desai’s resilient 48 and Arpit Vasavada’s steadying knock ensured Saurashtra’s recovery, but they still trail by 105 runs at stumps.

Andhra vs Uttarakhand

Andhra’s batting woes continued as they struggled to build partnerships. Having bowled Uttarakhand out for 338, Andhra added 54 runs for the first wicket in their second innings but lost momentum, finishing the day at 54/4. Hanuma Vihari remains at the crease with KS Bharat, and they’ll need to mount a recovery to keep their hopes alive.

Bihar vs Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh dominated Bihar, extending their lead to nearly 500 runs. Venkatesh Iyer (176) and Shubham Sharma (240) ensured MP posted a massive 616 before dismissing Bihar for just 108. Bihar now faces an uphill task to avoid defeat.

Chandigarh vs Delhi

Chandigarh edged ahead of Delhi’s 276, taking a slender 48-run first-innings lead. Delhi fought back with a four-wicket haul from Ayush Badoni, but Chandigarh’s Shivam Bhambri (80) and Manan Vohra (44) put them in a strong position. Delhi’s chase for the deficit continued late into the day, finishing on 32/0.

Kerala vs Uttar Pradesh

Kerala made significant progress against Uttar Pradesh, ending the day with a 178-run lead. Despite early setbacks, Sachin Baby (82) and Salman Nizar (74) steadied the ship, while Jalaj Saxena contributed with both bat and ball. Kerala will look to extend their advantage on the third day.

Haryana vs Punjab

Punjab’s collapse to 141, despite a six-wicket haul by Nishant Sindhu, set up an exciting finish at Rohtak. Haryana posted 243 in their second innings, setting Punjab a target of 217. Punjab is 73/3 at stumps, still needing 144 runs to win, while Haryana requires 7 wickets to close out the game.

Vidarbha vs Himachal Pradesh

Vidarbha finished the day with Dhruv Shorey (100) and Karun Nair (50) unbeaten, trailing Himachal Pradesh by just 24 runs. After Rishi Dhawan’s 73 led HP to 307, Vidarbha fought back through a strong partnership between Shorey and Nair. The match is evenly poised heading into the third day.
