Pakistan has announced its 15-member squad for the first Test against England, scheduled to take place from October 7-11 in Multan. The squad is led by Shan Masood, with Saud Shakeel named vice-captain. All-rounder Aamir Jamal and left-arm spinner Noman Ali have made their return to the squad, which also includes star players like Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi.

The squad selection followed recommendations from head coach Jason Gillespie, emphasizing giving players rest from the ongoing domestic Champions One-Day Cup to prepare for the series. Training for the team is set to begin on October 1 in Multan. The first two matches of the series will be held in Multan, while the final Test will be played in Rawalpindi.
