An ICC delegation is expected to visit Pakistan this month to review the country’s preparations for hosting the Champions Trophy 2025. During their visit, they will also discuss the tentative schedule for the tournament with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

While the PCB had previously submitted a proposed schedule, it is still under review. One of the key decisions pending is whether India’s cricket team will receive government clearance to play in Pakistan, which could impact the final schedule.

The ICC team will inspect venues in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, meet with security officials, and review broadcasting setups, team accommodations, and travel plans.

With BCCI secretary Jay Shah set to become ICC chairman in December, it’s expected that the schedule announcement may be delayed, similar to last year’s World Cup in India.
