Carl Hopkinson and Richard Dawson will leave their roles with England’s white-ball coaching staff after the current tour of the West Indies. Their departures come as Brendon McCullum prepares to take over as head coach across all formats.

Hopkinson, who joined as fielding coach in 2018, was part of England’s World Cup victories in 2019 and 2022. He also helped develop young talent, notably guiding the England U19s to their first World Cup final appearance in 24 years in 2022.

Dawson, a former off-spinner, joined the senior coaching staff ahead of the 2022 T20 World Cup. He had previously led the U19s to the World Cup final in 2022 and played a key role in nurturing England’s spin-bowling talent.

Both coaches leave behind a legacy of success, having contributed to England’s white-ball dominance and the development of the next generation of international cricketers.
