The first match was won by 61 runs using the D/L method, the second by 8 wickets using the D/L method, the third match by 183 runs, fourth match by 5 wickets, and the fifth match of the series was won by 15 runs. Shaheens defeated and won the first game by 16 runs, whereas Black Caps won the second game by 10 wickets, and the third by 95 runs. 
  • 2015-2016 ICC World Twenty20: The twenty-third match of the ICC World was played between both teams on 22 March 2016 at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali, Chandigarh. Batting first, New Zealand set the target of 180 runs, and Shaheens was unable to surpass the target and posted 158 runs. Martin Guptill got the title of man of the match. 
  • 2020-2021 New Zealand v Pakistan: New Zealand and Pakistan played the 3-match series 2-1. In the first match, New Zealand won by 5 wickets with 7 balls left, and in the second, they won by 9 wickets with 4 balls left. Whereas Shaheens won the third game of the series by 4 wickets with 2 balls to spare. 
  • 2022-2023 New Zealand Tri-Series: In Hagley Oval, Christchurch, Black Caps and Shaheens played the second, fourth, and third final match of the tri-series. This series took place between three cricket nations, i.e., Bangladesh, New Zealand, and Pakistan.
